The first day of Advent

Now is the time to start preparing for Christmas. Last night we had a St Andrew's Day ceilidh at the church and today we started putting up decorations. The tree was assembled, the lights arranged with a little difficulty, banners hung and other decorations arranged.

Then we all trooped down to the hall for soup, pasta, and apple crumble.
