Evening Solway Clouds

What a beautiful unexpected sunny day its been today. Walked L on the marsh this morning and then spent time chatting to neighbours and clearing up leaves. All too soon it was time to go for another walk to check out a possible sunset.

No sunset but great clouds instead, so not complaining. We went to Anthorn for a change and had a good walk along the marsh. After a while there was a commotion if you call it that... the geese were arriving in their hundreds to spend the night on the mud flats. I had camera at the ready but the shutter wouldn't fire as had a flat battery duh!! The sky was turning pink by then so there could have been a blip there! I spent a while just watching and listening to them before L got bored and wanted to make a move.
