Advent geese

I had thought of posting something that would reflect the day, this Advent Sunday - the Sunday school children with their Advent greenery, perhaps - but these wonderful geese settled it for me. If I could post a movie here, I would have done so, as my first photos, of the longer, huge skeins that passed over and around us on the shore road this afternoon were videos so that I could keep the sound that took over for a good ten minutes as they wheeled around the fields on the shore of south Toward.

These beauties passed directly overhead when I had shot my fill of movies.
