Excited about December <3

December is here and also the 1 advent. We had a nice lunch with my dad and his family, after I was dogsittering and brushing their poodels in the morning (during their visit to the 1st advent church), and came home in the afternoon.

It is four weeks before christmas and so we build up a christmas tree to decorate our rental flat. You see, we need the tree to collect underneath it all the small gifts that are for your friends. (In finnish tradition the Santa Claus of Elfs bring gifts under the christmas tree in 24th of December - so this is a vice versa, I quess, as we collcet the gifts under our tree to the Elfs to deliver the packets... Even if I have not seen one ever...)

Today there has been again a strong storm in Finland. I am happy as our family is ok, we have stayed indoors in the evening - just after we had our teens home from their evening activities

Thanks for your comments for the winter traffic shot yesterday, and for the stars too. Very kind of you - of course we have to know how to drive here in winter time, before you got the local driving licene in Finland, you have to drive the winter test... The road just looked bad, but actually it was normal winter conditions, quite ok to drive with proper winter tyres. And with decent speed, of course! ;)

The weekend has gone - again. I wonder about the speed of time!
