Advent candle

After a still and quiet candlelit carol service for Advent, we walked out into the night trusting that the God-light we sang and read about would live out in us tomorrow. But tonight it was enough that the cat, Aslan the lion kitten, basked in the vulnerable glory of this solitary candle.
