Practice run

The organisation for Christmas has started apace.

Gail did a practice run for the sweet for Christmas dinner today. None of us are lovers of christmas pudding. I like a piece about once very five years or so just so I remember what it's like. Nobody else in the family cares for it at all. So, we normally have something different. The favourite for a few years has been Tiramisu - home made. Delicious. More than delicious. To die for. To crawl over anyone who gets in your way. Anyone who does risks getting beaten with the left-over cracker, or if one exists, an unused one. Get the picture?

This year a change, something different, hence the practice run. Having been under the illusion that they are hard to make, they've never been made. That is until today. These profiteroles were delicious too. Very light. Very creamy. Very chocolatey.

It won't be Christmas pud again this year!
