A Wave of Success
I'm Blipping this on Sunday. I've spent all day (ALL DAY!) in bed/on the couch feeling like crap. Throat infection, project meeting tomorrow, deadline on Wednesday. It would appear that the candle that's being burned at both ends has now run out. No sweat.
What did I do today? Not a lot, until the evening. The evening was Surf's debut in to the world of choreographed dance. CMD put on a spectacular event every year where sports teams from campus put together a routine and perform on stage in the Copper Rooms to raise money for Sport Relief. The range of routines on display was outstanding and a lot of effort went in to the evening.
As I mentioned earlier it was Surf's debut and the audience votes for the winner. Considering we're not the biggest society on campus (by a long shot) it came a massive surprise when we came runners-up. A genuine (gin-uine) surprise. Men's hockey took first place for the second year running so congratulations to them. Much celebrations happened afterwards though I didn't join them as I just wasn't feeling well enough.
Pictured above is the team in all their glory pulling off a fantastic Zoolander 'Magnum' pose:

Mason, Kate, Kate, Tab, Lucy,
Kate, Harvey, Vosper
It was awesome to be back rehearsing and performing on stage. I've really missed it.
Thank you massively to Kate Mant for choreo'ing the whole thing.
Peace
