Off again?

Sadly no, but I've has a lovely day. A nice lie in this morning (flippin' no more of those eh) followed by a walk over to the next village to look round a little Christmas craft fair.

I left the house under a lowering sky, taking my umbrella just in case, and tootled off. Passed a few people on the way - an older lady with a newspaper, a father and son (I assumed) and a man with jeans tucked into hiking socks under hiking boots. I thought to myself, "yeah, there's the difference, I'm walking but you're a Walker" lol.

Had a wander round the fair and picked up a few bits which may but quite possibly won't end up as Christmas gifts. My legs were a bit tired - well I've done a lot of walking lately! - so I thought I'd have a sit down with a magazine in the hotel bar. And the red wine I ordered to go with it was rather tasty!

By the time I walked back the sun had put in an appearance and this long stretch of railway caught my eye...

Back to the grind tomorrow. I haven't checked my emails since I finished last Tuesday, but unfortunately I'm fully aware of what tomorrow will hold.

Is it nearly Friday yet???
