Good end to a good day!

Advent Sunday and the lighting of the first advent candle. Then a dash home, and off to a rehearsal for a Christmas Eve service.

All done and off to the local for a couple (?!) of drinks with friends. Fires burning inside the pub making it warm and cosy - very busy this afternoon. This was the outside of the pub as we left - Christmas trimmings up and Christmas trees twinkling in the windows.

Then it was a walk down to our daughters for a great curry, followed by a game of ten pin bowling on the Wii with the grandchildren - I was beaten in spectacular fashion, whereas hubby who has never been near a computer before, beat us all hands down!! A good day!
