The last of the burnt burgers

Determined to stretch out the last of the 'Barbecue Summer' we've all experienced in Scotland (HA!), Mrs Delphwynd fired up the charcoal one last time before it's packed away with the other seasonal garden additions.

And very nice it was too. Didn't have the courage (or the thermal underwear) to actually eat outside though, we came back indoors to do that. The ironic thing is, it does feel a bit chillier than usual even indoors this evening, so I think tonight might be the first time we switch on the central heating to take off the chill. So... barbecue off; thermostat set to warm and toasty.

Autumn, ready or not, here we come!
