Day Out!

Up bright and breezy for the annual 'family day' - wasn't really bothered about going to be honest, and would have happily had a day catching up with what I should have been doing yesterday rather than doing this.

Anyway - I cycled down to work and hopped on the bus, which took us all off to Warszawianka Hotel & Spa, less than an hour away from the city. Pool and aqua park for the kids and volley-ball, tennis and food & drink on tap for the big kids. An alpine-style log cottage was reserved for us, but it was shunned for the outside terraces thanks to the bluest of skies and sunniest of suns. The weather made it, and we were able to use the pedalos and kayaks on the lake, which was great fun. This is Majka, pedalling up front!

A bonfire was lit at the end of the day and we all stood around cooking sausages on long twigs-for-skewers! Nice.

Glad I went!
