Aneurin Bevan and Walter Conway

We took a detour round the heads of the valley route on our way to Burry port this weekend, to avoid a traffic jam on the M4, and stopped for lunch in Tredegar. They have a six mile sculpture trail, featuring figures from history with links to the town. I didn't know Tredegar was the birthplace of Nye Bevan, or that they had started their own health service.
