Bright Sundown

Today we took an afternoon drive to Cambria, the community 12 miles to the north of Cayucos. It is a quaint little artists village with lots of shops, but basically no brand name stores.

We really should have planned to go into Cambria in the evening hours because they were kicking off their Christmas lights celebration today. We had planned to get back to the house in time to see the sunset. We think it is the best entertain and the best bargain also. Four-hours a day for free entertainment here. Two hours in the morning watching the birthing of a new day and two hours in the afternoon/evening watching the day's end. AND never is a day the same as the one before it.
