Faded glory

Dropped Alice and her friend off this morning at stupid o'clock for the Guides Christmas cinema trip at the Tyneside Cinema.

This is opposite the old Odeon which has been empty for decades.

I remember seeing various films here, Close Encounters, the Return of the Pink Panther as well as it being a venue for bands as well.

Managed to see The Who here twice in the 70's as well as Wishbone Ash, Deep Purple and others, (god that makes me feel old).

Shame that it should now look so sad.
