A pretty awful photo...

...for a pretty cool book! Another birthday surprise from a friend who knows how much I enjoy maps.

It's been an all round exciting day, with the arrival of this plus two packages I posted myself from the UK. I now have some of my books back, a second pair of shorts, and assorted other clothes I haven't seen for a few months. Hopefully this means all the other parcels have cleared customs and will turn up soon. My nervous ones (the slightly more fragile objects) are yet to appear, but here's hoping my packing was satisfactorily protective and snug.

I got to spend the evening sharing some of my Norfolk photos with a fellow Norfolk-lover. It was great to talk about it and share shots of a few of my favourite places. I'm currently missing it a little, just because I'm aimless at the moment, so I have to keep reminding myself about the horrible winters and then soak up some sunshine here. It seems to work, but I'm sure a little longer in the sun* with a book won't so any harm ;)
