Rush Hour in the High Street

The High Street was really busy this afternoon when we were out shopping. One of the shops we had to nip in to (emergency zip repairs needed on the lucky Yeovil FC hoodie!) is in the Crispin Hall - in the 19th Century a library for the edification of Clarks' workers - where they have a number of pictures of Street in days gone by. This one shows the High Street around 1900; many of those buildings are still there today.
