POISED TO BREAK .....

the rules ----this a Fasting Day (5 and 2) but we continued to indulge ourselves following generous hospitality and interesting conversation.
Invited to morning coffee at a friend's house we were pleased to attend to meet Aileen's brother, a surviving member of the British Forces who fought at Monte Cassino, Italy in 1944.
The hospitality and conversation we enjoyed over morning coffee convinced us to reflect further on comradeship and company so how better to do so than by continuing the Italian theme at lunch. Rules are made to be broken--so while Minestrone and Pasta is good it's back to cauld kail 'nd parrrich anither day!
At least that's how we see it.
