Broken Glass

The building which used to sit at the end of my street and anchor it to the town caught fire yesterday. It had been abandoned years ago but stood like a sentinel watching over travelers and locals alike. It was a good landmark for giving directions from but now it's a ruin. They had to tear off the front wall to prevent it's collapse and I'm sure the rest will follow shortly.

The view will never be the same. Let's hope it's better.
