Queen Street to Waverley!

Spent the morning in Edinburgh with my sister and niece. After having our coffee in the beautiful surroundings of ‘The Dome’ we wandered round the Christmas markets sipping this and sampling that while we looked at the many stalls selling everything from woolly hats to spiced Christmas fruit. The skaters were having a great time on the ice wearing the official orange skates. This decoration was on top of one of the stands – the only obvious sign of what Christmas is truly about.
