To Admire Reflections
This stretch of the Sulby River is tidal. It is just upstream from Ramsey harbour.
Happily as I was passing today the tide was in and one had a good view across the river. Often when the tide is out the area is not too appealing.
The area where I am standing is called Poylldowey and which is the old Manx name for "Pool of the black ford"
I think that pretty closely describes what you can see today.
