Jock
Yet another portrait you are probably thinking - there's a reason.
Today has been one of those flat, dim, boring, overcast, turgid, shadowless days. Half an hour @ f/8 in any direction you care to point!
So, once again, I've been out pestering innocent passers-by along Tonbridge High Street. Well to be fair only one actually, because he was the first I asked and was quite amenable to being photographed.
I know - you think I've made up his name, because he doesn't look very 'Jock-ish". Not surprising because he is German, but explained that so many people have trouble with his name, he decided to use Jock.
I asked him (in German) how he spelt his name, but he replied J-O-C-K. At this point, I thought perhaps I'd better not venture too much more German and politely said Vielen Dank!
If I see Jock again, I'll try and have a longer conversation with him - He seemed a very friendly man. Hopefully, he'll log-in to Blip and have a look at his portrait, although he confessed to an aversion to computers and the Internet.
