Lily

Today was the first time I have had a chance to try out my new flash ( Nikon SB700). I was really quite nervous as I have never used anything other than the pop up flash. I was delighted to discover that I can use this new flash off camera too.

So, with my limited knowledge, I set about taking images of this lily. Not bad I suppose.

Then, I decided to try capturing water drops. Well......30 minutes later, the kitchen now resembling something between a science lab, and junk yard, and my poor camera dangling precariously from a, by now, somewhat deformed tripod, I realised that there was no way I could drop water into the basin below without it hitting the camera.

Mission aborted.
