Sensible shoes =

Sensible job...

I got the matron job today, so I've celebrated with buying sensible shoes which I'm trying to wear in, hence no laces. If I hadn't of got the job I figured the shoes could go back and I could go back to my comfy tatty shoes, but as I got the job I thought sensible polished shoes would give a better impression?

I'm pleased about my new role but at the same time I feel slightly scared of the responsibilities that lie ahead and the fear of being more overworked that it affects my work life balance. The plus side is I don't have to work weekends which means we can have more family time and hopefully more lie in's?
