Just finished reading Frank Skinners book about how he got back into stand up comedy after a ten year absence with TV work. There's a bit in it where he describes how, if you go to see a favourite band you expect to hear all the old songs and are disappointed if they concentrate on the new stuff, whereas with a comedian it's the opposite, the last thing you want to hear is old jokes.
Went to see Billy Connelly tonight. Too many old songs unfortunately.
