The Gathering Storm

I arrived in Reno late last night. It was clear, but windy and cold. All night the winds howled, and again all day today. I took this photo after sunset and was intrigued by the cloud formations and the light reflecting off of them. I also liked the movement of the tree and the way it seemed to conform to the shape of the cloud formations. I liked the colors and effects and decided not to change anything. Please also see this other shot, also not altered. The forecast is for snow starting tonight and tomorrow.
