'Piano & Ice Cream'

Tuesdays are piano lessons for the kids. Tonight was Bella's second lesson, and from MsMuns reports she is doing very well. Tonight she told me where the 'C' and 'F' keys are and she's been learning some simple scales. Dylan is now learning Scarborough Fair and seems to have the first line down pat now and is working on the second line. He's playing beautifully (when he practises).

After their lessons, the kids are allowed to have an ice cream, home made vanilla in a waffle cone for everyone tonight as it's still very warm tonight.

Bella has been catching Skinks out in the garden and she's managed to trap 3 or 4 of them tonight, only to hold them for a little bit and then let's them go again. Maybe it's just the same one shes caught 4 times tonight?

Rather than both jumping in the shower tonight, they wanted to bring out their old baby baths and have a bath on the front deck. There isn't much room for them now and I'm really glad they were outside with the amount of water that was splashed out all over the deck.

They are both now ready for something to eat (which is smelling beautiful) and then into bed. Only another week of school left this year.
