Third Year Abroad

By LittleLots

Spent the morning at the Moorish baths in the Albaizin, well I say morning when really I mean 2pm but when you've only made it to bed at 7:30am it definitely feels more like morning. Yet somehow we managed to drag ourselves out of bed and across the city, if feeling somewhat dazed and confused. But as hangover cures go, you can't get much better than spending a couple of hours relaxing in the quiet, dimly lit rooms of the baths. With the 25 euro student deal you even get a massage thrown in. A dangerously good deal once you've had a taste of luxury... After a fairly surreal hour and a half, we stumbled back outside into the dazzling sunlight feeling like new women. Or less fragile ones at least.

It was lucky we'd had that time to recover, as it being Leanne and Anna's birthdays there was more of a fiesta to come that evening. We were supposed to be going to a massive erasmus flat party, but due to the other 400 or so people who also wanted to go it got shut down around midnight. We only finished pre drinks at about 3:30 by which time there seemed little point in going out. Somehow a couple of us were persuaded to go to Jacob and Dave's new flat for an after party. Well, if you can call us all falling asleep on the sofa an after party anyway.
