3k Series runners

Quick entry tonight I have just got a callout. This is the group that ran in the last run of our 3k series we held over the last 5 weeks, a great turn out by all those that run. Tonight we had a handicapped race where the fastest runners were the back markers some having 17 minutes handicap on the slower runners, a fun night and very warm. On the right No 193 is Jesse Gibbs winner of the Road to Hope Marathon in North America last year and U 21 course record holder of the pre earth quake Christchurch Marathon Course and member of the NZ Performance potential squad for the next Olympics and Commonwealth games Marathon. Jesse was the first runner I coached. 286 is Ellie, Millie's sister as Millie is racing in the 3000m and 1500m at the NZ Secondary Schools Athletic champs on Sunday I would not let her race so Millie ran with Ellie tonight to help her run a faster time.
