Dungarees

Katie asked for a dungaree dress a while ago. We chose some beautiful winter weight red cord and trims. She nagged me every morning as to whether it was finished until finally today, it was! And she loves it. She put it on straight away then twirled and danced. It definitely passed her twirl tests. She even showed it to the rabbits.

On a morning, Katie has started getting her own breakfast. She does the whole thing and I just find her sat at the table munching on her bowl of cereal - like today. She'd chosen cheerios at the supermarket yesterday and ran downstairs amusingly excited to do her breakfast herself. She loves any meal/snack where she can do it all. She's always had her own snacks cupboard and now will often come to me and say "Mummy, I've made crackers & cheese - here's one for you".

She ran all the way to nursery today. One of the staff passed us in their car just as we set off and she was racing to get there first. Granny and grandad are joining us for tea tonight. Katie decided last night that the tea for today would be fish pie and she wants to help make it so she'll be home in time to do that!
