He called to say hello

Back home this morning and I was greeted by my friend the Starling. This is his first time this Autumn/Winter. He was surveying the territory, then decided to have a feed of the Fat Balls. I suppose now that ordinary food is getting scarce because of the drop in temperature, we will see a lot more birds returning to feed!
