Nothing like a walk beside a river to sooth the senses after a long day at work.

The waters of the Ovens River which rise and fall quite dramatically with the seasons did just that for us this evening.

Spotting today’s blip on the opposite bank revealed how the mighty red gums that line this water way maintain their hold in the often the raging currents produced by the winter rains.
