BIGNONIA

Lots of frustration with my blip. I wanted to photograph the bignonia against the blue sky and after my siesta the sky had clouded over and a few drops of rain were falling. So no lovely shadows on the wall and no blue sky!
Then I had no success downloading my blip. Gave up and went to a very interesting meeting of our photographic group. Only 4 of us but worthwhile sharing our images. Our topic was still life, with the emphasis on informal, not arranged objects seen around our homes.
The best one to my mind had lighting that reminded me of Vermeer's paintings. A chair, table and rumpled table cloth with a battered dog's bowl in deep shadow on the concrete floor. Simplicity and balance.
