Selfie

This photo makes me smile, this is Cath and Karen attempting to take a selfie, it took them so many attempts to get it right and were in fits of hysterics trying to take it.

It actually rained so our plans to got to the beach for the day were definitely ruined and we spent most of the day in a cafe drinking some questionable coffee and playing president (a favoured card game withing the youth of our church). In the afternoon we watched a tomato fight on the beach reenacting an old battle in a VERY fun way. All of the locals were involved and has dressed up, they even decorated their boats to look like old ships!

We then went to Es Paradis a local club that night. A mixed night, the music was great including 'Lovely Laura' playing live saxophone over the dance music and the decorations were amazing but I struggled with the dancers the club had and found it uncomfortable to watch. God broke my heart for those girls and so I spent a lot of the night praying for them rather than dancing. Still a valued experience to go and witness one of the clubs that draws people to the island.
