Half Mast

The Union Flag flies at half mast outside the Central Scotland Fire Brigade Headquarters in Maddiston, Falkirk, in memory of those killed in the Clutha Bar at the weekend.

The deaths occurred when a Police helicopter crashed onto the roof of the Clutha Vaults pub in Glasgow, the reason for that still unknown. A major incident was declared, with emergency service responders coming from all over Central Scotland - including Falkirk.

Nine people died in the tragedy, with many others injured. There may have been many more deaths, but people from the Clutha and other nearby premises went in to help, and get people out of the building.
