Emerging from the Mist

These swans were clearly hopeful that my early morning visit meant breakfast, but I had not intended to pay them a visit so had nothing with me! Guilt ridden, having taken their photographs with nothing to give in return, I left before they reach the shore. Maybe I should go tomorrow to apologise with bread. Should one give bread to water fowl or not, that is the question?
