Ryde Pier and the Local Train....

We went on a trip to Newport this morning we had a relaxing walk around with the rest of the crew, the girls went into almost every charity shop they could find. We return ed to the coach and off we went to Ryde, where we had lunch and another walk around, more charity shops and I even managed a few shots of the Pier, this is the oldest pier in Britain, built even before Victoria came to the throne. The ferry runs from the end, cars and full size trains run on it, a lovely sweeping Pier.

Tomorrow we are off to Shanklin and Alum Bay.
