The road through the trees

Lovely miserable, cold, cloudy day again, but it didn't stop us getting out! We haven't been out for any kind of walk since our weeks holiday in Cornwall in September! Just no time, I've been so busy & stressed over all the craft fairs etc that my feet haven't touched the ground, nor for a walk either! It was cold, but still, not even a breeze & the walk was pleasant through some forestry commission woodlands - no deer unfortunately, but lots of coal tits & goldcrests high up in the sitka spruce :) This is the road before the woods - I had to take my chance as cars came screaming down this road, totally oblivious to these beautiful beech trees, I hate how some people take things like this for granted or just don't even *notice* :(

Usual gym this morning, but no energy this morning at all, could only do an hour as wanted to get back early to give us enough time to get out for a walk, as the days are so short & still getting shorter! xxx
