Does what we photograph...
say more about our subconscious than we care to admit? Today it was all about the lone objects...a light standard, a truck, one pair of bird prints in the snow. After getting back home I couldn't get away from how the early morning light struck the side of this truck, slumbering in a parking lot. It has been a challenging year, one where I won't feel sad when I turn the page of December over and start a new year. Some people say that we should ask permission when photographing a stranger because it is taking a part of their soul... but is it also not giving a part of our own soul when we put out an image to be viewed?
