Another Cold One

Once again we've been promised an extended frigid spell, with arctic air rushing down the Fraser Valley into Washington. It wasn't the best day to venture forth to Lynden, which is very close to the border and gets the full force of the wind, but we had an important errand.

We were picking up our second Icelandic lamb Snorri II (in small frozen wrapped packages) from the Lynden Meat Co. To fight off the cold, we fortified ourselves with a hearty breakfast at the Dutch Mothers' Family Restaurant.
