Meeting a new Friend

OH the Monday returning to school after 9 days off! It can be tough, but my girl did it with a smile...and a hug, and a, "I'm going to miss you, Mama!"

Work was busy....and I spent too much time reconnecting with co-workers and friends after the holiday. So many people I care about are struggling with loss right now. So many grieving. So many people hurt, and need a hug.

We had a little something to look forward to at the end of day, though. We got the opportunity to drop in on a friend and her new baby. eeeeeeeee.....this brings so much joy to our hearts. One of this little lady's big brothers is in Sugar's class. He was oh so proud to show her off to us. So heart warming. You may know the mama, as well. She is none other than the ultra inspiring blipper, Life Inspired! no one does a Macro like this AMAZING lady! CHECK IT OUT! Anyhow...she is taking a small break from her regular blipping to be a fantastic mama to this new little honey. I'm so blessed that she shared her with us. Sugar was so happy and excited to hold her.

We headed on home with happy hearts. Had some dinner, and got some bedtime reading in. The hubby returned home from his hunting trip late in the evening. Good to have him home.
