Alterations

On Friday night we have our Focus Annual Dinner, so I am having to take up my dress.

It is a problem to buy clothes that are the right length, for someone who is slightly vertically challenged.

Thought I would be smart and get a dressmaker to do it but after calling into her place on Sunday I was told she is shifting and all her machines ect. are packed away.

What a buggar, so after getting a lot of advice on how to, I decided to do it myself.

I have just finished it and it looks good. I might add it was not just a straight take up hem as there was a layer that had to be shortened as well.
