Winsome Wednesday

Today my youngest son, Joshua, became a teenager. Thirteen years old and already as tall as me, bigger feet, wears adult sized clothes.
We came downstairs to helium balloon, cards and gifts, all before school.
Clare and I dropped him at school and then raced into Truro to get the Christmas Goodies for export to Spain.
Home by lunch time we were about to start painting when our good friends Graham and Sue arrived to drop Joshua's card, they never forget.
Eventually we cracked on with the painting, it will not get finished until Saturday but we will have "broken the back of it" today.
Following our evening meal we shall have a large slice of chocolate birthday cake before Joshua heads off to Army Cadets, (taking a second birthday cake to share) and the rest of us relax.
He has a third cake for Scouts tomorrow and pasty's are required for Friday nights rugby training!!
