Nice View

Not sure if he is admiring the changing colours of the leaves on the bush or waiting for the queue of birds who are eating away at a piece of bread on the step below to buzz off.

In a short space of time the piece of bread on the step below was visited by a black bird, thrush, great tit and a couple of sparrows all of whom just appeared out of the bush. As one flew away the next one appeared. The robin did eventually get his turn.

When the food source becomes scarce in winter the robin will eat just about anything put out on a bird table, especially fatty foods such as bacon rind and cheese.
