A touch of sparkle
at Harlow Carr.
We decided to make our December visit to Harlow Carr RHS gardens today as the forecast was for blue skies before tomorrow's forecasted arctic blast storm.
It was a beautiful crisp day and even before we got into the gardens we spotted these silver baubles adorning the white barked trees down the entrance steps. We were having lunch in Betty's cafe and I sat watching them blowing in the breeze and sparkling in the winter sunlight.
My blip was decided then even though we saw two Robins at close quarters (always a favourite place for seeing Robins) and other subtly decorated areas through out the park.
A lovely day, whatever tomorrow throws at us, and finished off with tea and mince pies back in Betty's cafe.
