Nipping to the High Street after school...

I had to -

1.Deliver shoes and boots to the mender
2. Deliver light bulbs to Demelza for the chandelier lights that I bought cheaply in Ikea last Friday but haven't had the chance to take in before.
3.Pick up some bits promised to me by one of Alex's Scout Leaders who works in the Ironmongers.

Riveting stuff, huh?

I took lots of pictures of the lights, Christmas trees, decorations etc, but I had to choose. I shall try to revisit some of the sites again between now and Christmas...
The marquees were being put up outside the castle grounds for the Dickens Festival at the week-end which should be a good blip opportunity. This link is a video of the 2010 festival when it actually had snowed! You might recognise some of my blip locations! It goes on a bit but about halfway trough is the Dickens costume procession.

It doesn't look very different to the summer in the day time (a little further back than today's blip). Swap bunting for lights..!
