Two Cones for Whittle Square
[edited]
I thought this was called but that is a different local sculpture; so apologies that the blurb about Whittle does not match the actual subject of the blip.
I'm not sure what the point of these are, but you can read all about it here.
They reside outside the Whittle Inn, in Gloucester Business Park.
The pub being named after Frank Whittle; who is credited as being the inventor of the jet engine.
The first British jet engine was the Gloster E.28/39 which was tested at Brockworth; now the site of Gloucester Business Park.
