Blackness Castle

On the 12th December last year I blipped a Blackness Castle on a rather dull day. Walked today after lunch with former colleague Tom from Blackness to Abercorn on a very different day. A fine stroll through the woods to the interesting church and graveyard at Abercorn Church. The low sun was catching the castle and showing up the fine outline of the walls . The castle is a great example of a Scottish stronghold, commanding a strategic position on the Forth
