A Golden Evening

All for the love of photography....

Late this afternoon I went for a walk around the pools at Knypersley, I haven’t been for a few weeks and thought I would see what was about.

There wasn’t much on the water a few ducks, a group of gulls and I did spot a cormorant fishing. Someone had put out feed on the bridge and the squirrels were having a feast, a nuthatch waited it’s turn and managed to get a few nuts.

I stopped on the bridge to capture the sunset and was engrossed in the view in front of me I never notice the black clouds gathering behind !!

About two minutes after this image was taken the heaven’s opened, I had gone out with a jacket on not a waterproof, so much for going to the hairdressers today.
