Winter light ...Islay

These Scottish Islands of ours are so special. I love the expansive skies and the way the wind and the sunlight create an ever changing view over the water. A shorter work visit due to impending storm and likelihood of cancelled ferry tomorrow. J enjoyed some time walking and saw whooper swans , brent geese and female hen harriers. I really appreciated the time I had and getting blown to bits on the shore was well worth the benefits of being close to the wild .
