Not Downton ...

...But Knockdow Estate, in the very south of Cowal, in Argyll. I promised a respite from the gloom of dusk or rain, so today we went a walk in the morning, choosing the south of the Cowal Peninsula in the hope of avoiding the showers that were driving through Dunoon. This part of Argyll lies to the south of the Highland Fault line, and the landscape is very different from that found a few miles to the north.
